Job Story
The Registrar's Office is looking for a reliable and friendly student assistant to support front-counter operations. In this role, you will greet and assist students, faculty, and staff with questions related to student records. Responsibilities include processing requests for official transcripts, assisting with the distribution of diplomas, and directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member. The ideal candidate should be able to maintain confidentiality, have strong attention to detail, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, faculty, and staff. This position pays $9.50 per hour.

Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving ability, answer phone, ability to multitask and dependability.

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
