The Custodian of Special Events and Projects plays a key role in keeping the WSU campus clean, disinfected, and safe while supporting the energetic flow of athletic, community, and special events that bring the university to life. This dynamic position adapts to shifting schedules, including weekends, evenings, and nontraditional hours, to ensure every event shines, from packed athletic games to campus wide celebrations. In addition to event support, this role also contributes to important campus projects such as floor refinishing, carpet extraction, deep restroom sanitization, and seasonal maintenance tasks that keep facilities in top condition.
