Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm - May require occasional evenings and weekends

Job Summary
Manages the day-to-day operational recruitment activities. Develops and implements marketing strategies and solutions to achieve business goals. Assists in strategic planning of recruitment strategies and priorities.
Essential Functions
Oversees daily recruitment service delivery, promotional projects, campaigns, events, programs and/or services. May lead staff in the design and implementation of marketing materials. Acts as liaison to admissions staff, students, and community. Manages brand identity by implementing print, audio, visual and/or online design standards and providing creative direction for all marketing recruitment efforts. Engages with on and off-campus customers and related departments. Enhances customer base and strengthens the university's image. Analyses market research to create new or enhance current markets. Develops long- and short-term marketing objectives utilizing analyses to enhance the competitive advantage. May oversee staff including work allocation, training, promotion, and enforcement of internal procedures and controls, and problem resolution. May assist with the monitoring, tracking, and management of annual recruitment and marketing budget.
Job Duties
• Plans, coordinates, and participates in the establishment and operation of a specialized program and/or activity planning methods and developing systems in accordance with goals and objectives. Ensures compliance with affiliate agreements. Oversees and coordinates student placement opportunities. Prepares and maintains program data.
• Develops and implements systems in support of program activities and provides adequate reference of data, documentation of procedures and processes and evaluation of program results.
• Serves as liaison with appropriate students, faculty, staff and outside sources to obtain and provide pertinent information and to answer inquiries concerning program activities.
• Compiles and analyzes information in support of program activities; prepares and distributes reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.
• Coordinates with department staff, students and affiliates to facilitate student educational placements and service delivery in accordance with negotiated agreements.
• Coordinates and promotes program services at student and affiliate outreach events to meet educational, accreditation, experiential and applied learning needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
- Three (3) years of experience in recruiting, admissions, or communications in higher education or related field
Required License/Certifications/Training:
Valid Kansas driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to learn, understand, and effectively communicate information related to CAS graduate programs to wide array of groups, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate empathy.
- Ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and staff across the university, and external partners/constituents.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quickly learn other applications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess needs to design/implement solutions to challenges.
- Commitment to diversity and ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Ability to occasionally travel and attend recruitment events to support the growth of CAS graduate programs
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
