The T3 Lab is looking for a student Software Quality Assurance Engineer to work with their software development team.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
This role offers significant growth potential for Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The individual in this role will work closely with the software development team and other SQA Engineers for testing websites, mobile apps and database-driven applications. The selected candidate will be involved in developing test plans and executing manual and automated test cases for websites and applications, performing data integrity testing for large and complex data-driven applications and reporting systems.
SQA Engineer will also be involved in developing and maintaining user guides, tip sheets, and complete documentation of websites and applications.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements
• Experience in testing and reporting bugs for web applications using various platforms.
• Experience in writing test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of different types of software testing strategies
• Basic understanding of web and mobile application development
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to prioritize, organize, and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phones, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
