Job Story
Ennovar is looking for a student assistant to be a visual inspector at Pfizer.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Manually inspect vials of injectable medication for particulate contamination, fill level, cracks, or seal defects.
Rotate and tilt vials under proper lighting to identify visible abnormalities.
Follow established inspection procedures and defect criteria as outlined in SOPs and GMP guidelines.
Remove and document any defective or questionable products.
Record inspection results accurately in batch records or electronic systems.
Operate semi-automated equipment (if applicable) to support the inspection process.
Perform regular equipment checks and ensure cleanliness of inspection areas.
Communicate any recurring defects or issues to quality and production teams.
Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Meet daily inspection quotas while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Requirements
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects accurately.
Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.
Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering majors are encouraged to apply but are not required.
