Job Story
NIAR’s Sustainment lab at the ASTEC facility in Park City, KS (10 miles north of WSU’s main campus) is looking for a WSU student to assist with business operations and procurement for department programs. In this role, you will be assisting with data entry, invoicing, reconciliation, and material procurement.

Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area in which the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties
• Data entry
• Invoicing and payments using University systems
• Spreadsheet generation for data tracking
• Sourcing material and hardware
• Receiving materials and facilitating payments
• Reconciliation of accounts and data sets

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
• Current WSU Business student
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Background knowledge of aircraft or supply chain management
• Experience with Microsoft OneNote
• Prior financial, accounting, or business operations experience

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to phones, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
