Job Summary
Develops and manages the business and technology research processes. Develops research processes and plans for protecting and leveraging current and future research. Partners with internal and external partners to effectively reach research goals.
Essential Functions
Develops research processes and plans for protecting and leveraging current and future research. Organizes technology and business research tools. Partners with internal and external partners to effectively reach research goals. Establishes configuration management of research products. Establishes institutional knowledge and stays up-to-date on technology. Recruits, mentors, and manages students and/or staff performing technology and business research
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Seven (7) years of experience in related field required; Every 30 hours of college coursework beyond 60 hours can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage and coordinate project deliverables.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to consistently and positively interact with internal and external partners.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to document information in a timely manner with high degree of accuracy.
Proficient with MS Office suite.
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information. Ability to move or traverse across campus, within buildings and offices, and/or across external environments. Ability to interpret effectively, accurately and impartially, both receptively and expressively.
