Job Summary
Develops and creates marketing strategies and objectives for the assigned business unit(s) in alignment with University mission and goals. Designs and creates high quality, complex, and creative print, digital, video, motion, and 3D content.
Essential Functions
Develops and creates high quality, complex, and creative print, digital, video, motion, interactive media, multimedia projects, and 3D content for visual materials.
Uses graphic design software and engineering file formats to produce complex motion graphics, graphic art and visual materials.
Maintains and updates graphic design files to ensure safe storage and appropriately document all design pieces and projects.
Collaborates with staff, leadership, and departments to research, develop and present creative communication and marketing campaigns, concepts and projects. Translates conceptual themes and ideas into effective product layouts and communications.
Ensures communications and visual design products align with conceptual intent and business requirements.
Oversees promotional projects, ensuring projects are completed effectively and on time.
May assist with the monitoring, tracking, and management of budget.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
Five (5) years of relevant experience in graphic design
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of CAD, AR/VR, and other engineering file formats (STEP, STL, OBJ, USDZ, FBX, DXF, 3DXML)
Experience with 3D modeling, rendering, and technical visualization (i.e. Blender, Maya, Unity, Cinema4D, SketchUp, etc.)
Hands-on fabrication and prototyping expertise including, but not limited to, mobile display systems.
Versatile skills across print, digital, video, motion, and 3D content.
Familiar with rapid prototyping, automation, and technical systems.
Ability to create storyboards and visitor experience design for tours, exhibit spaces, and branded environments.
Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder communication skills, including experience presenting ideas to senior leadership.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and
calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to position self to utilize video equipment to gain ideal shots in all types of environments including outdoors and
confined spaces.
Ability to move, transport, and/or deliver items, supplies, or equipment.
Ability to move or traverse across campus, within buildings and offices, and/or across external environments.
