Export Compliance Requirement
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.

Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Perform automated manufacturing processes
· Assist staff with research project development
· Conduct supply inventory management
· Operate and maintain tools and equipment

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements
· Effective in completing tasks on time and to high standards
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Have great attention to detail
· Ability to work with complex systems
· Able to work 20 hours each week during the semesters
· Become forklift certified and operate an overhead crane

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
