Job Story
Ennovar is looking for an outstanding student to work at Deloitte's The Smart Factory on Innovation Campus to help with smart factory technologies.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
- Support the planning, activation, and testing of smart factory technologies and use cases at Deloitte’s Smart Maintenance and Repair Facility space on WSU’s Innovation Campus.
- Support execution logistics for Smart Maintenance and Repair Facility tours, including speaking about Industry 4.0 technologies and applications as applicable.
- Assist in developing Smart Maintenance and Repair Facility use cases and their integration, and provide systems and machine maintenance and testing in addition to operating machines to generate data.
- Machine operation and maintenance will only be conducted after completion of the designated training provided by COMPANY and must be in accordance with all established safety procedures.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Requirements
- Possesses capacity and desire to understand and communicate Supply Chain and Operational concepts and best practices.
- Possesses desire and passion to work with Industry 4.0 technologies, and understands the digital and mechanical technologies as well as their applications.
- Able to solve complex problems, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and apply supply chain knowledge to Smart Factory concepts.
- Able to troubleshoot, manage, and resolve problems or errors in processes, systems, software, and other development concepts.
- Demonstrates strong ability to succinctly deliver information and impart knowledge to executives in a professional setting.
- Possesses analytical skills, communication skills, and the ability to communicate through a virtual environment.
- Possesses business aptitude in the areas of accounting and finance.
- Process-oriented (Lean, Six Sigma, supply chain oriented).
- Majoring within the College of Engineering or other relevant disciplines with coursework and/or
clubs/projects related to Supply Chain, Operational, Manufacturing, and/or Maintenance concepts.
- Can work up to 20 hours per week for the duration of the Summer. This position is slated only for the Summer 2025 semester. “
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to phones, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
