Must be able to work evening hours. Depends on class schedules. Office hours are 7am-10pm depending on classes in the building.

Job Story
The Old Town Student Assistant supports administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. The role can also involve data entry, and performing general office tasks as needed to ensure smooth campus operations. They may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the satellite campus in various forms. The coordination and execution of campus events, including evenings. Responsibilities include classroom equipment setup and troubleshooting issues (e.g., AV equipment), on-site monitoring, and post-class building closing.

Job Duties
Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.
Additional Requirements
Must have dependable transportation, as this location is not on main campus. Must be undergraduate student.

Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Blackboard.

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
