Ennovar is looking for a Security Analyst Student Assistant to work at Boeing AeroSystems.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Monitor and analyze alert systems for security threats.
Triage security alerts, logs, and reports to accurately assess severity and response priority.
Respond to security alerts in a timely manner.
Pursue professional development in cybersecurity basics.
Assist SOC Tier 2 analysts and the Security Operations team with active investigations.
Timely and appropriately respond to assigned internal projects.
Follow proper incident response and escalation procedures as defined in the training plan.
Document and communicate research and information effectively to the business.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in IT Helpdesk or IT Support Roles: Demonstrated background in providing technical assistance and support.
Technical Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
Effective Communication Skills: Capable of collaborating seamlessly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts to ensure optimal team performance.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to phones, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
