Job Summary
The School of Criminal Justice at Wichita State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Criminal Justice. We seek a dynamic and innovative scholar committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service. While all areas of specialization will be considered, we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach and conduct research in policing and/or corrections. The successful candidate will contribute to our undergraduate and graduate programs, engage in impactful research, and participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
As one of the earliest criminal justice programs in the United States, our school offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Criminal Justice, a fully online bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security, and a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science. Due to the school’s strong partnership with local and state agencies, faculty have abundant research opportunities.
