Job Story
The Spring/Summer Bridge/Non-Bridge Tutor Counselor will work alongside staff to deliver organization services to program participants. The tutor counselor will assist with the preparation of documents, reports in support of summer program curriculum. TC’s will help to maintain all student and program record in files. The individual will assist organization staff in monitoring activities in accordance with the organization established goals and objectives. The TC’s will report to the Program Manager to ensure that all aspects of record keeping, program planning, development and evaluation are in place to maintain compliance.
Job Duties
Assist with departmental tasks.
1. Work with Organization staff to ensure the goals and objectives are met.
2. Work with Residential staff per daily schedule for Bridge/Non-Bridge.
3. Computer literate, work with students and Organization staff in the completion of tasks and projects in support of program curriculum.
4. Responsible for monitoring program participants in the residence as well as during the daily course schedules.
5. Responsible for student check-in and check-out.
6. Responsible for managing discipline in consultation with CUB staff, summer instructors and residence staff.
7. Escort students to classes, complete all shit reports
8. Attend all meetings
9. Provide administrative assistance as directed by Organization Staff
10. Any additional tasks per directive of Program Manager.
