Job Story
Wichita State Intercollegiate Athletics Association, Inc., is searching for professional, service-focused individual for our ticketing/development team. We deliver memorable experiences that connect all to Shocker Nation through a shared sense of pride and passion. Ticketing/development staff is responsible for providing high-level customer service to WSU Athletics stakeholders while executing day-to-day functions of intercollegiate athletics revenue generation practices.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Make outbound phone calls and handle inbound phone calls, as necessary.
Work external events to include all WSU ticketed home events and select hosted events at WSU.
Handle conversations in person and over the phone with donors and season ticket holders during office hours.
Projects as assigned by Revenue Generation Leadership
Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Ability to stay in one position for long periods of time.
Be responsible and organized with time.
Ability to handle cash and balance.
Ability to handle difficult conversations and situations when necessary.
Required Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a Sales and Customer Service Environment.
Additional Information for Posting
Students will carry out administrative and technical tasks as it relates to functions of athletics ticketing and development. This includes but is not limited to: customer service conversations, interacting with and problem-solving for stakeholders at WSU Athletics events, and maintaining a first class experience for all WSU patrons.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Frequent 60-90%
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Frequent 60-90%
