Job Story
Tutors provide high‑quality academic support to undergraduate participants in the federally funded TRIO Student Support Services – STEM Program. Tutors assist students in strengthening their understanding of course content, developing effective learning strategies, and building confidence in their academic abilities.

Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties
Support students in general education coursework.
Provide tutoring across multiple subjects based on tutor strengths and program needs.

Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.

Physical Requirements
