Work Schedule
Standard work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday.
Export Compliance Requirement
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.
Job Story
Ennovar is looking for a Software Engineer Student Assistant to work at Textron Aviation.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Fulfill ticket and access requests from ServiceNow.
Document fixes in the Knowledge Base using Markdown to improve self-service resources.
Assist in cleaning up Git repositories and organizing .NET source code.
Automate fixes for repeat IT tickets.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Work up to 20 hours/week.
Textron Aviation defined holidays, as listed in Schedule A, will be recognized and will not be worked by Ennovar Students. Any exceptions to Schedule A will be mutually agreed upon by Textron Aviation and Ennovar Leadership Teams.
Students would be expected to know some of the following languages, but are not limited to just these: C#, C++, Visual Basic, Jscript, ASP.net. Other languages are a plus (such as Java) and will only help in understanding the development life cycle.
Textron is responsible for all equipment located at Textron.
Work must be performed on-site.
If required, TAI will provide a secure VPN connection for any off-site work that has been authorized.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to phones, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
