Job Story

The Keeping ICT SAFE (Substance Abuse Prevention Focused on Empowerment) grant seeks a part-time (20 hrs per week) Project Data Analyst to prepare statistical reports. The goal of this project grant is to reduce e-cigarette use among adolescents and young adults, reduce opioid progression among adolescents and young adults and increase mental health awareness and reduce stigma in the community. The data analyst will conduct statistical analysis for the SAMSHA grant, help prepare reports for SAMHSA, help with data management, data security and confidentiality, and help upload the quarterly reports to SAMHSA.

Job Summary

Provides statistical analysis for assigned project(s), builds databases and data tools, assists with data security and confidentiality, and generates required reports. Provides recommendations to leaders on strategies and evaluates reporting, ensuring project meets specific requirements.

Essential Functions

Provides statistical data research analysis for project(s).
Provides support and guidance to project leaders on business evaluation strategies through the development of forecasting and prediction model(s).
Recommends and supports program(s) through the design, development, and implementation of databases, data analyses and data security and confidentiality to ensure compliance.
Assists with the development and submission of reports to meet project needs.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in psychology, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in data management, analysis, reporting, and statistics.

None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze numbers from databases and manage data.
  • Ability to exercise appropriate personal initiative and accountability with exceptional follow through, attention to details, and track and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills along with critical thinking ability
   

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Frequent 60-90%
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
