Job Story
The Junior Lead is responsible for leading a team of 10 to 12 student employees. Reporting to the Senior Lead, this role involves managing activities related to production, personnel, and workflow of kits.

Job Duties
• Lead a team of 10 to 12 student employees in the production of kits.
• Oversee workflow by monitoring completion/verification of kits.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Train and coach team members on job tasks, policies, and safety protocols
• Assist in certifying Kitters for production and verification.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for kitting purposes.
• Complete daily metrics as needed.
• Collaborate with the Senior Lead to optimize production processes and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support production operations.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role (1yr. preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to work flexible hours, Monday through Friday between 5 am – 9 pm, including weekends if required.
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to sit for long periods and walk long distances.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of production processes and workflow management
• College degree in a related field but not necessary
• People management skills
