Job Story
The Finance, Real Estate, and Decision Sciences department at the Barton School of Business is looking for a graduate assistant with technical skills to work with MIS faculty. You will Assist MIS faculty with their teaching and research activities. Please indicate in your resume when you plan to graduate.
Job Summary
The primary function of a graduate research assistant (GRA) is to assist faculty members in their scholarly and / or creative activities.
Job Duties
High level of computer skills necessary for this position. Computer Programming and Application Development, Database Skills, Savvy with the use of AI to create computer applications and data collection. etc. Please list your technical skills in detail in your resume.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Additional Requirements
Must be a registered graduate student taking at least 6 credit hours.
Required Experience
To be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to a degree program in either full or conditional standing. Students admitted on probation or placed on academic probation following admission may be eligible for assistantship awards under certain circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications
Students with an MIS background/major preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
