Job Story
Student will design, develop, and test extended reality (XR) user interfaces to assist astronauts with future space flight needs according to NASA Artemis design challenge requirements. Student may represent the Open XR Lab and CosmoShox at various events and will be a positive and professional representative of CosmoShox and all units located in the College of Innovation and Design.
Job Summary
The primary function of a graduate assistant (GA) is to assist in basic scientific research using laboratory facilities, computer programming or operation, data collection, correlation and preliminary interpretation of data, statistical analysis of data and writing preliminary reports, bibliographical work, or assisting musicians or artists in their creative endeavors.
Job Duties
Design, develop, and test extended reality (XR) user interfaces to assist astronauts with future space flight needs. Also may assist with outreach events, data collection, management, visualizations, research, presentations, and quarterly reports.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Additional Requirements
Student must be current participants in a NASA Artemis design challenge at Wichita State.
