Job Story
If you're passionate about expanding educational opportunities for high school students and have a keen eye for detail, this role could be a perfect fit for you. By working closely with teachers, students, and administrators, you’ll help create pathways for students to start college early, making higher education more accessible and affordable for Wichita-area students. If you have previous experience in concurrent enrollment, it’s a huge plus, as it allows you to navigate the role more seamlessly.
This position is both highly detail-oriented and people-focused. This role is vital to helping students earn college credit while still in high school, ensuring they have a smooth and supportive experience from application to completion. You’ll be responsible for keeping documentation in order, ensuring applications are processed correctly, scholarships are applied, and students are enrolled in the right classes. Your work will directly impact students’ success, from responding to their questions via email and helping them withdraw from a class if needed to meeting with students face-to-face. On top of that, you’ll be checking in with teachers throughout the semester, assisting with mid-term and final grade submissions.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives on accuracy and follow-through. Attention to detail is essential, as you’ll be managing multiple moving parts and ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards. You should be comfortable reviewing degree information and verifying eligibility while also having strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and leadership. Written communication is key, as you’ll need to switch between professional emails and condensed messaging to support students. Being proactive is just as important as being reactive—you’ll need to anticipate next steps while also handling immediate needs tied to the academic calendar. Event planning experience would also be a bonus, helping to foster stronger connections between concurrent enrollment teachers and the campus community.
If you're ready to take on a role that blends precision, communication, and student impact, we’d love to have you on our team. Apply today and help us shape the future of concurrent enrollment!
