In this role, you’ll take charge of our event and game day needs & preparation, becoming the primary point person. From managing budgets to hands-on event preparation, you’ll be the heartbeat of our event operations.

Job Summary
Manages the day-to-day maintenance and operations of one (1) or more assigned facilities. Assists leaders with facility master plans, provides recommendations and develops reports. Assists leaders in coordinating athletic facility maintenance, grounds, in-house construction and custodial services, ensuring compliance with applicable policy and state regulations. Assists with budget management and development.
Essential Functions
Assists leaders with facilities management including major construction, mechanical and building maintenance services. Monitors and provides recommendations for energy usage and develops programs to reduce energy consumption. Assists leaders with the development and reporting analyses of capital, construction and operational budgets. Manages daily athletic facility operations including, game day staff supervision, and practice and event set-up and tear-down. Assists leaders in developing and implementing short- and long- range master facilities plans. Coordinates with University staff, and ensures adherence to maintenance schedules for all athletic facilities and playing fields. Compiles status reports for management.
Job Duties
Lead event staff by being the go-to person for game day and event operations, ensuring an optimal setup. Focus on game day budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources. Balance your time between recruiting and managing staff as well as handling the necessary paperwork for the new staff or event requests.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- One (1) year of directly related experience in a collegiate or professional sports setting

- Effective and professional communication with peers and clients
- Understanding of end-to-end event/game day planning
- Ability to build/maintain relationships with coaches and other staff to address needs
- Hospitality focused customer service & connect with diverse population
- Integrity & supportive related to staffing and supervising
- Self-motivated & organizational style that lends itself to success
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information. Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to move, transport, and/or deliver items, supplies, or equipment. Ability to move or traverse across campus, within buildings and offices, and/or across external environments.
