Job Story
This 9 month, part-time, position reports to the Testing Coordinator for WSU’s Office of Student Accommodations and Testing. The person in this position assists with academic and community testing services as well as with the front office operations of the Office of Student Accommodations and Testing.
Job Duties
1. Responsible for the processing (proctoring and return) of academic and community exams. Exams involved include, academic (both online and paper/pencil), credit by exam, distance exams, and certification exams.
2. Answer phones, greet guests, schedule exams and answer questions about services offered through the Office of Student Accommodations and Testing.
3. Maintain testing database.
Additional Requirements
1. High school diploma
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in general office, clerical, and administrative support work.
3. One year of experience in a customer service environment as first point-of-contact for customers and or prospective customers.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Associate Degree or some college
2. Demonstrated experience with test proctoring and/or administration
3. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent written communication skills.
6. Ability to build and sustain effective professional interpersonal relationships with a diverse constituency of faculty, staff, and students.
7. Demonstrates effective multi-tasking skills, such as the ability to move between tasks and interruptions seamlessly.
8. Excellent customer service skills
9. Shown integrity, dependability, and adaptability.
