Job Story
The Information Technology Center is looking for an IT student assistant to help with daily tasks such as software and hardware installs, phone support as well as onsite, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties
• Software\Hardware installs
• Phone and onsite support
• Software\Hardware troubleshooting
• Researching resolutions for computer problems
• Documentation
• Tasks as assigned
• Must have a good understanding of MS Windows (operations and networking)
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Ability to explain technical issues in a non-technical way to an End User
• Task and detailed orientated

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
