Job Story
The Maintenance Support Technician ensures technicians have the tools, materials, and logistical support needed to perform efficiently. This position focuses on organization, transport, and readiness—helping keep the hangar running smoothly and safely.

Job Duties
Retrieve, transport, and deliver tools, parts, and equipment to maintenance personnel as requested.
Maintain inventory of consumables, hardware, and commonly used materials.
Keep work areas, tool rooms, and hangar floors clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Support technicians during maintenance tasks by staging equipment or preparing work areas.
Track tool usage and ensure all tools are returned, accounted for, and in serviceable condition.
Assist with moving ground support equipment (GSE) and positioning maintenance stands, ladders, and platforms.
Perform basic administrative tasks such as logging parts, updating records, and completing checklists.
Follow all safety procedures, FAA regulations, and company policies.
Respond quickly to requests from supervisors and technicians.

Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse, maintenance, or aircraft environment
Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Additional Information
This position requires a valid driver's license

Must be at least 16 years old

Environmental Factors
Active aircraft hangar environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
