Professional customer service representative for the Fine Arts Box Office - will handle patron support for fine arts events.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Handle patron ticket requests via phone call, in person, or providing support for online sales.
Money handling and general office assistance as it relates to events, performances, and daily area operations.
Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.
Additional Requirements
Must be currently enrolled as a WSU student
Working evenings and weekends is required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Required Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Positions are for immediate hire, therefore it is required that an applicant already have been issued a social security card by the United States Social Security Administration
Additional Information for Posting
Student positions within Performance Facilities will have work hours that vary weekly depending on how many ticketed events the School of Music or School of Performing Arts have scheduled.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
