Pay: Range begins at $23.67 per hour and is commensurate with experience
Work Schedule: 7:30am-4pm (flexible), Monday - Friday, with some weekends required (January and July/August); on-call rotation

Job Summary
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of complex equipment and systems throughout the facility.
Essential Functions
Installs, tests, maintains and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment and systems as scheduled or needed.
Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal and/or external trades.
Inspects and tests equipment. Documents and maintains records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty and/or vendor requirements.
Requisitions materials and supplies, maintains inventory
Performs troubleshooting or repairs that have been escalated or that are more complex.
Shovels and removes snow and ice from designated areas such as roofs, sidewalks and entryways as required.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years of experience in general maintenance
Required License/Certifications/Training:
Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with students and staff.
- General knowledge of maintenance systems within a residential building.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to position self for inspection, construction or maintenance of equipment and/or buildings including confined, elevated and loud noise spaces.

Ability to use tools, equipment, and technology necessary to do the job. This includes dexterity in instrument manipulation.
