Export Compliance Requirement: This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.

Job Summary
Provides support in the oversight of research compliance components the university. Manages the operational, administrative, and data workflows required to maintain institutional alignment with local, state and/or federal research requirements.
Essential Functions
Manages the operational, administrative, and data workflows required to maintain institutional alignment with local, state and/or federal research requirements.
Manages operations for institutional research compliance boards including, but not limited to, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking protocol approval periods.
Maintains accurate database records, audit logs, and internal tracking systems ensuring data integrity for regulatory reporting requirements and audit readiness.
Serves as a resource and the primary point of contact for research personnel regarding compliance requirements, protocol submissions, and issue resolution.
Assists with Conflict of Interest/Conflict of Commitment (COI/COC) reviews and management of Research Misconduct cases.
Required Education and Experience:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Federal research compliance frameworks (OHRP, FDA, HIPAA) and grant processes.
Knowledge of research administration, protocol review cycles, COI/COC, and misconduct procedures.
Strong organization, data management, and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Windows-based systems.
Manage multiple compliance workflows and regulatory projects.
Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
Coordinate board operations, track approvals, and maintain audit‑ready records.
Interpret and apply regulatory requirements consistently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to move or traverse across campus, within buildings and offices, and/or across external environments.
Ability to interpret effectively, accurately and impartially, both receptively and expressively.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
