Job Story
Alce su Voz at Wichita State seeks a Spanish-English bilingual graduate student with strong organizational and communication skills to assist with multilingual community events and research projects focused on language and community health.

Job Summary
The primary function of a graduate research assistant (GRA) is to assist faculty members in their scholarly and / or creative activities.

Job Duties
-Assist with registration and distribution of participant support stipends at community at events and associated paperwork
-Review and edit automatic transcriptions of Spanish-language interviews
-Assist with coding of Spanish-language interview data
-Assist with dissemination of information about program at events

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree

Additional Requirements
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English

Required Experience
To be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to a degree program in either full or conditional standing. Students admitted on probation or placed on academic probation following admission may be eligible for assistantship awards under certain circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications
Formal study of the Spanish language
Research experience
