Job Story
The Molecular Diagnostic Lab is looking for a student to help with environmental, health, and safety projects within the lab.

Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties
- Experience with environmental, health & safety projects
- Chemical handling
- Hazardous waste disposal
- Ergonomics
- Technical writing skills (standard operating procedure authoring)
- Experience performing inspections/audits
- Process engineering

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

Additional Information
This position is located at Fagron Sterile Services. Applicant must be able to work in an off-campus position. Preference is given to students working on a graduate degree on the following degree paths (or related): Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing), and Supply Chain Management.

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
