Job Story
The Molecular Diagnostic Lab is looking for a student to help with aseptic compounding and supporting personnel.
Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
- Prepare equipment and supplies for entry into the cleanroom in adherence with proper
aseptic technique.
- Keep receipt of inventory of all incoming goods.
- Performing inventory counts of material and equipment.
- Inform supervisors of problems that may arise with cleanroom entry or inventory.
- Stock the cleanroom with supplies and chemicals.
- Ensure strict procedures are enforced and followed in and around the cleanroom facility.
- Clean the general shipping and receiving area, and clock in and out for every scheduled
shift in a timely manner
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent

- No allergies to chemicals that might be used during compounding.
- Ability to communicate with others.

- Possess basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate students interested in learning about cleanroom environments.
Additional Information
This position is located at Fagron Sterile Services. Applicant must be able to work in an off-campus position and during first or second shift.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
