Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Varies with department. Work will include (but is not limited to) supporting the following departments:
Post Production
QC Sample Lab
Manufacturing Quality
Engineering Projects
Training Development
Warehouse Projects
Environmental Monitoring
QC Chemistry Lab
Quality Assurance
Environmental Health and Safety
People & Culture (HR)
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements
Available to work at least 20 hours per week during the school semester and up to 40 hours per week during summer.
Proficiency with computer usage.
Possess experience working in a regulated environment (GMP).
Be able to handle multi-task activities to support production schedule.
Be able to be garb-qualified and maintain such qualification.
Be detail oriented.
Be able to get along with a variety of different personalities.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, which align with Good Distribution Practice.
Be able to write and review technical reports.
Other requirements as needed based on department.
Additional Information
Preference will be given to those on the following degree paths (or related): Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing), Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Chemistry, Biology, and HR.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
