As our External Engagement Coordinator, you’ll help build meaningful relationships between our organization and the communities we serve. This role contributes primarily to digital content that shares stories and ideas in engaging, accessible ways by strategically leveraging social media platforms. Also supports the planning and execution of events that bring people together around conversation, culture, and community.

Job Summary
Provides outreach to prospective or current internal and external partners. Collaborates on the creation and design of digital material for outreach events, social media, newsletters and promotional materials.
Essential Functions
• Develops and produces social media and video content for multiple digital platforms.
• Engages with on and off-campus customers and related departments. Enhances customer base and strengthens the department's and/or University's image.
• Coordinates the development and implementation of promotional events and projects.
• Leverages data and engagement metrics to assess audience growth and refine strategies for maximum impact.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on the design and layout, and prepares visually appealing finished products for use in digital mediums while maintaining the University brand and image.

Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
