This position assists with overall fundraising development efforts of station in collaboration with business leadership.

Job Summary
A Graduate Staff Assistant (GSA) assistants' university service and academic units in either non-teaching or non-research activities. Specific duties of the GSA vary widely, depending on the administrative or academic unit to which they are assigned, but should be at a level to make use of their education and abilities.

Job Duties
Manages day-to-day development/hospitality operations
Serves as contact person for responding to inquiries concerning fundraising events, games, and resolving complex problems
Assists with fundraising events and renewals of Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree

Additional Requirements
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requires prolonged standing, sitting, walking and stair climbing to access full range of facility.

Required Experience
To be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to a degree program in either full or conditional standing. Students admitted on probation or placed on academic probation following admission may be eligible for assistantship awards under certain circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications
Able to work effectively both independently and on a team.
Exemplify a strong commitment and willingness to provide outstanding service.
Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Frequent 60-90%
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Frequent 60-90%
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information. Frequent 60-90%
