We’re looking for a detail-driven, grant-savvy data champion to join our team and ensure that every metric tells the right story. This isn’t just about spreadsheets it’s about shaping futures & your work will help us prove that students are getting the academic and mentoring support they deserve. If accuracy is your love language and you get a small thrill from catching discrepancies that others miss… keep reading.
You’ll be the steward of the baseline metrics that shape our entire program; from the Initial CAP Survey to the monthly reports used by school administrators and the quarterly data needed for federal annual submissions. Your work ensures GEAR UP can demonstrate real, measurable results at a time when transparency and accountability are defining education nationwide.
You’re naturally curious and methodical. You don’t just report data—you interpret it. And you aren’t intimidated by federal guidelines or complex metrics; you’re energized by the responsibility.
Our ideal fit:
- Exceptionally detail oriented, organized, and systematic.
- Comfortable with federal grant expectations, or willing to learn them quickly.
- Able to interpret trends, not just run reports.
- Understands how to communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Resourceful in researching anomalies and reaching out for clarification when numbers don’t align.
- Skilled at asking the right questions instead of making assumptions.
- Calm under pressure, especially when deadlines stack up around reporting cycles.
- Enjoys improving systems, processes, or workflows for cleaner, more accurate outcomes.
