Summary of Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising undergraduate students, supervising MS and PhD students in their theses and dissertations, obtaining research funding, conducting an active research program, publishing the results of research, actively participating in professional societies, and service to the department, college, and university.
Minimum Education
  • A doctorate in Electrical Engineering, or closely related field by start date.
Minimum Experience
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with existing faculty in a multidisciplinary program.
  • Record of research and publication in electronic devices.
  • Aptitude for teaching in electronic devices.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Candidate should have demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be an effective teacher at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Potential to attract external funding.
  • Demonstrated potential to publish in recognized journals/conferences appropriate to the area.
  • Willingness to accommodate a variety of learning styles and strategies in instructional delivery and learning activities, including online and blended learning, flexible teaching methods, and applied learning approaches.
