Summary of Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
Maintain externally funded research program.
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research.
Engage in university/departmental services activities.

Minimum Education
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
Minimum Experience
  • Three years as an Assistant Professor level or higher in a M.S.- or Ph.D.-granting department.
    Internationally recognized record of scholarly achievement.
  • Externally funded research program.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Ability to teach undergraduate organic chemistry classes and graduate classes in are of expertise.
  • Effective written and oral communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
