Summary of Responsibilities

Tenure track faculty are required to teach, generate a good publication record, and to participate in service activities.

Teaching responsibilities will include: A variety of undergraduate American Politics courses, including introductory American Politics, as well as a course on quantitative methods. The teaching load is nine credit hours per semester.

  • PhD in Political Science by time of appointment in American Politics

  • Prior teaching experience
  • Presentation of research in a professional setting
  • Record of scholarly achievement
