Summary of Responsibilities

1. Teach two courses (Graduate and Undergraduate) appropriate to the department and the human factors program.
2. Conduct research appropriate to the human factors program.
3. Seek external funds appropriate to the human factors program.
4. Supervise graduate students who are in the human factors program.
5. Provide appropriate service to the department, college, and university.

Minimum Education
  • Ph.D. in Psychology
Minimum Experience
  • Must have Ph.D. in Human Factors or other related areas in experimental psychology.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to diversity.
  • Have a record of research productivity.
  • Have an ability to attract external funding.
  • Have the ability to interact collegially.
  • Have a commitment to teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.
