        20 hours per week. We require a commitment of five 4-hour shifts per week for the duration of the semester. Morning Shift: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

        Job Story
        The Kansas Small Business Development Center is seeking students interested in learning more about how small businesses start and operate. We are looking for students studying: artificial intelligence, finance, accounting, marketing, communication, training or event planning.

        Job Summary
        A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

        Required Education
        High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.

        Additional Requirements
        Students studying artificial intelligence, finance, accounting, marketing, communication, training or event planning.

        This is specific to each position and department. See additional requirements and/or preferences.

        Additional Information for Posting
        The Kansas Small Business Development Center is seeking students interested in learning more about how small businesses start and operate. We are looking for students studying artificial intelligence, finance, accounting, marketing, communication, training or event planning.
        This is a 20-hour per week, part-time opportunity requiring a consistent schedule throughout the semester. Candidates must commit to working five 4-hour shifts weekly.
        Standard Shift Times:
        Morning Block: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
        Afternoon Block: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

        Physical Requirements
        Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
